UNDERGRADUATE

Two Courses of the Coimbra Medical School Curriculum are entirely supported by researchers from the Unit:

Pulmonology (5^th year) – Chair: Fontes Baganha

Clinical Immunology (5^th year) – Chair: Segorbe Luís

Also, there is cooperation in several other subjects, both in the basic and clinical sciences.

There are two Seminars in the 6^th professional year organized and/or supported by researchers from CP: “Dispnea” and “Lung Cancer”: Fontes Baganha, C Robalo Cordeiro, Lina Carvalho.

POSTGRADUATE

Researchers from the Centre cooperate in several Master Programmes from Coimbra Medical School (Public Health, Occupational Health, Geriartrics, AIDS-from prevention to therapeutics, Medicine of Sport), from Lisbon Medical Sciences School (Pathology of Respiratory Tract) and from UBI-Covilhã University (Clinical Immunology).

Researchers from the Centre (Lina Carvalho, C Robalo Cordeiro) integrate the School of Pulmonology (President: Segorbe Luís), which is a post-graduate entity, part of the National Society of Pulmonology, that organizes two Main Courses per year.

The Centre participates in the organization of the annual”Jornadas de Actualização Pneumológica” (Pulmonology Updating Conference), Coimbra University’s oldest postgraduate annual initiative which celebrated its 30th edition in 2006. Chair: Fontes Baganha; General Secretary: C Robalo Cordeiro.
