Antoine Cazé
Was
born in Paris in 1963. He wrote his doctoral dissertation
on Emily Dickinson. Presently he teaches American Literature
at the University of Orléans (France). He has published
critical essays on various authors, including Emily Dickinson,
Gertrude Stein, Robert Lowell, Paul Auster and Georges Perec.
At the moment he is working on a book on John Ashbery.

He has written for the journals Argile, Pictura, La revue de belles lettres, Les cahiers de Royaumont, Impressions du Sud, Petite, Il particulare, etc. He has contributed to the cahier Jacques Dupin ( La Table Ronde editions), and to the anthology of epigrams D'estoc et d'intaille (Belles Lettres). He is the author of Monotonies de bouche (éditions T. Bouchard, 1982), Biographies (Le Voleur de Talan, 1983), La nuque des mots (Parler Net, 1985), Haute bassesse de l'amour (Passafe, 1986), la pitié. L'insomnie (éditions Étant donnés, 1990), L'inaccompli de voir (Spectres Familiers, 1991), La table des jours (Ombres, 1994), Tace (Les cahiers de l'atelier, 1994), Rien n'est retour (éditions Fourbis, 1998) and Ce quelque chose (collection Mémoires, 2003).
